M.E.C. – Try the Experience!

Microsoft experience center

Happy Friday everyone! It’s the end of a long week and I know some of us are ready to enjoy the weekend. Or at least sleep – you know, there’s a saying, “if sleep were a man, I’d marry him” (or woman, whatever your preference)… let me tell you something; I 100% agree!

Ok, now let’s talk about MEC! What is MEC you ask? MEC stands for MICROSOFT EXPERIENCE CENTER. It’s a totally awesome event that can help your company decide if Microsoft’s Office 365 is the right tool for your place of work. And you know, not to endorse them, or anything (I totally am by the way because I used to be a Mac lover – what was I thinking!), but I have been converted and it’s all thanks to the great applications within Office 365 that have allowed me to maximize my productivity at work!

So let’s get into how these MEC’s happen. Typically they’re funded by Microsoft themselves and as mentioned before, can be utilized for considering Office 365 for your company. They can also be used to learn more about Office 365 and how it compares to its largest competitors. The whole point is to really bring these applications together such as; Yammer, SharePoint, OneDrive, Office, etc., and to see how each can be used to its fullest capacity, knowing how to differentiate between them, and when to use them – (also used to put down and shame all competitors, ha!).

We all know Office has been around forever! But now Microsoft has taken it to a whole new level. Working together on documents, accessing documents online, it’s all been made so convenient! HOWEVER, “oh yeah, I’ve heard it through the grapevine… “(Marvin Gaye is in my head) a lot of you are opposed to “the cloud.” Which, you know is a legitimate concern, with there being security issues or whatnot at companies. But, all I can say is give the MEC a try and let us BLOW YOUR MIND!

Interested in scheduling a MEC? Great let’s get you signed up right now! The event can hold up to 10 people from your company (you’ll all be getting a hands-on experience with Office 365), and can take place at Microsoft’s New York Office or at your own place of work ( I’m whispering: it can even happen online ). See how appeasing we are?

Office 365 is so cool! And I’m not saying that because I have to (yes, I do), but if you want more information on this contact us and we’ll fill you in.

Cheers and enjoy the weekend!
